Art in Le Village welcomes artist Anita DesRosiers

Groupe Renaissance Group is pleased to announce this month's featured artist Anita DesRosiers. Anita's art will be on display in the Groupe Renaissance Office at 155 Montreal Road in Cornwall until the end of August.

Groupe Renaissance Participates in Triathlon

Groupe Renaissance is one of the sponsors in the Cornwall Triathlon to take place on August 14-15, 2004 in Cornwall. The event will take place through the streets of Cornwall along the water front. The seniors event will take place along Montreal Road, and the "Kids of Steel" event will be at Mattice Parc

World Changers Complete a Week of Work in Cornwall

World ChangersWorld Changers spent the week of July 17th 2004 completing approximately 50 various projects in Cornwall, Lancaster, Long Sault, Finch, Apple Hill and Williamstown. The impact that these young people have had on the community with their dedication, enthusiasm and joy goes much deeper than the various projects that they have completed.

World Changers will be returning to the area once again from July 2 - 16, 2005 when two different groups will visit the area for a week at a time. It is estimated that approximable 500 World Changers will participate in area projects next year.

Groupe Renaissance, Nativity Hall and Le Village Welcomes World Changers to Cornwall

World Changers at Nativity HallOn Sunday July 17, 2004 Groupe Renaissance, Nativity Hall and Le Village welcomed World Changers to Cornwall with a spaghetti lunch. Close to 200 Adult and youth members of World Changers will be spending a week in and around Cornwall on various projects such as painting homes, repairing roofs, building wheelchair ramps and building a Chapel at a local Scouts Canada Camp.
This marks the third year that World Changers has visited the Cornwall area to complete similar projects.

Art in Le Village welcomes artist Suzan Charlebois

Susan CharleboisSuzan Charlebois was born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario. She is an active volunteer for Groupe Renaissance Group.

One look at the detail in Charlebois' art and you will experience passion.

The works of Suzan Charlebois might make one feel safe, and peaceful. Julie Coombs of Groupe Renaissance Group stated “I feel a sense of serenity from these magical works of art.”

This local artist has an intense wisdom regarding art and the correlation towards community awareness of our local artists.

This delightful truly creates an ambiance of tranquility.

Suzan's art will be on display at the Groupe Renaissance Group office at 155 Montreal Road until the end of July.

Group Renaissance to Take Part in Cornwall Triathlon

For the second year, Groupe Renaissance Group will be a partner in the Cornwall Triathlon to be held on August 14th and 15th 2004.

August 14th will be the "Kids of Steel" in Mattice Park. Adults will compete on the 15th.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds to assist the Canadian Red Cross, Cornwall branch,in providing services such as first aid / injury prevention, abuse prevention and disaster services to name a few.
