Groupe Renaissance Group " Arts on the Street" Welcomes Ken MacLennan as their first Guest
Retired Superintendent of Education Ken MacLennan has been painting for the past five years. He has studied watercolor and acrylic and is knowledgeable in theory and design.
To transfer that knowledge to canvas is still a challenge, like a "painter in training". Ken said "I owe much of my knowledge to Teen Dancause who has been a "generous mentor" as well as Al Bain and Cathy Legault Roth.
Ken often travels to workshops in Brockville and has completed a Van Gogh workshop on technique, approach and style. He is presently studying the abstract/expressionism of Mark Rothko.
