Renaissance is located at 155 Montreal Road in Cornwall's Le Village district and is open from 9am to 3pm Monday through Thursday. Kathi LeGault will be present for a "meet the artist" event June 16th at 10 to 11.
Coffee and snacks will be served

About the Artist
LeGault sketched her surroundings as a child. Since then, she has experimented with various media before deciding upon watercolour as her medium of choice. She enjoys painting local scenes; the building, roadsides, trees and fields that we see almost daily, but rarely notice. Recently she has been creating a series of paintings of historical, vanishing and lost landmarks. Her painting entitled "Special Delivery" from the 1950's is a horse drawn milk wagon stopping on Second Street East to make a hasty delivery. The stone building seen in the background is the old Cornwall Post Office at Pitt and Second that was demolished. LeGault is a graduate of The University of Windsor and now lives in Cornwall, Ontario where she teaches Watercolour Classes and Workshops.
